Since 1995, the Yañez family has been crafting quality carpet and flooring with heart and dedication. What began as a small operation quickly grew, taking labor experiences from working previously in states like Georgia and Texas, where their reputation for honest work and expert craftsmanship spread by word of mouth. Now fully rooted in Colorado, the Yañez family continues to serve with pride, passing down the craft to the next generation.
Established in 2023 as a retailer and installation provider, Jorge has branched out on his own to help continue servicing Colorado, carrying the knowledge and experience from experts in his family like his father and uncles. Every floor tells a story—and for the Yañez family, it’s one of hard work, trust, and engagement for the Colorado Springs community they’re proud to be a part of.

Jorge Yañez
Owner
Jorge Yañez is the owner of Y Carpet & Flooring and a proud graduate of Georgia State University, where he earned his business degree in 2020. With over a decade of hands-on experience, Jorge began working as a flooring installer at just 18 years old, mastering the trade from the ground up thanks to his father, Eloy. After gaining valuable experience in different sales roles for three years at a corporate level, he returned to his roots and launched Y Carpet & Flooring. Today, Jorge combines his business knowledge, technical skill, and passion for quality service to bring trusted flooring solutions to homes and communities across Colorado.
Juan Yañez
Sales Executive
Juan Yañez is the sales executive at Y Carpet & Flooring, bringing over 10 years of experience of install in the flooring industry. He began his career as a young installer, gaining deep, hands-on knowledge of the craft. Juan’s strong foundation in installation, combined with his communication skills, has made him a trusted resource for clients and a key part of the company’s growth. As a rising young professional, he continues to expand his expertise, building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional service with every project.
